It’s a full house! The Outdoor Movie Night was a huge success, and we want to thank everyone for your wondrous support! A big shout out to Panasonic Myanmar and Gandamar Business Solutions for their generous support with the amazing projector and huge screen. This was the first time we hosted a rooftop movie night. It was heartwarming to see old and new friends gathered together to watch the Christmas classic, Love Actually. This coming year we hope to bring you more movie nights and events at the Sapphire Lounge & Bar Yangon. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!

Red&Black Entertainment held their music event “[LOVE GONE BAD]” on Saturday,13th of February, 2016 at the Sapphire Lounge & Bar for a night of carefree fun before the heartwarming day of love, Valentine’s Day. The open space of Sapphire Lounge & Bar was instantly transformed into a colorfully lit stage, filled with people dancing to the intoxicating music. It was easily a night to remember.

1月30日(土)、Ryuji Financeのセミナーが行われました。
マーケットが開放されたミャンマーでは、まだ金融サービスに馴染みがなく、基本的に現金一括払いしかありません。
高額なエアコン、冷蔵庫やTVを普及させ、国民の生活水準の底上げのために、分割払いを提案していくセミナーでした。
今後は、雇用を生む事に繋がる重機や建機なども扱っていくそうです。ミャンマーの今を少し見ることができました。
セミナー終了後に食事会となり、和気あいあいと1日が終わっていきました。

ファッション系のパーティーらしく、ドレスを着た人がパフォーマンスで夜に花を添えます。

“There’s only one knockout view in Rangoon and that’s of the Shwedagon Pagoda that is beautifully lit at night. For years the Sky Bistro at the top of Sakura Tower was the tourist favorite at which to drink in the view of the iconic gold temple, but the bar is long past its sell by date and the killer vista doesn’t make up for the dirty windows and cheesy decor. A better bet is the rooftop Sapphire Bar & Lounge at the Alfa Hotel. The hotel itself could do with a renovation, but you don’t notice that on the roof and there’s no need to worry about dirty glass—there’s nothing between you and the Shwedagon Pagoda. Six nights a week a Burmese harpist plays from 7-9pm and the rest of the time there’s just the clink of glasses and conversation. It’s a great place to unwind. The bar, which only opened at the end of last year, will close during the rainy season (June through to September).”
